Nick called me from school today asking me to come and bring him some shoes, I could have sworn he left this morning with shoes on. So why, you ask, would he need another pair? He has tied his shoelaces together so tightly that he can't get them undone. All morning and through recess he has been waddleing around school. 4 different teachers have tried to untie them but couldn't. One of his teachers offered to snip them, but no one may cut the precious shoelaces of his favorite shoes. I let him go to one more recess before I brought other shoes just to make sure it wouldn't happen again! I ended up cuttting his shoelaces!

Let me get this straight, Nick tied his shoe laces all up in knots and then walked around at school like a penguin for the rest of the day. Sounds like something Todd would have done. JK.
How funny. My girls call me all the time wanting new shoes but not because they are tied together but because they got dirty.
I laugh with you. A few years ago, after I had finally gotten karl (we call him the lagger) in the car and clear out to Mapleton to start a school day...a soft voice from the back, "mom, I forgot my shoes" Who forgets their shoes in Provo, drives 15 miles and then says they forgot their shoes...KARL!
