This is why!

I feel a little guilty that I did not give a tribute to my favorite son! It was his birthday on Christmas and I failed to tell the world (or at least some..ok 2 people who read this blog) how wonderful he is on his special day!

I like Nick- he's funny. He doesn't like school, but what kid does at this age? He loves sports... mostly football! Loves hangin' with his boys. He likes playing with his Dad and Kayla. Loves pizza and candycanes (not the peppermint kind). What a great day to have a birthday... to share it with Jesus. He is a pretty awesome kid and I love him. Happy belated b-day Nick!

Now, this is why.....

Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, Birthday Party, Christmas Presents, Birthday presents, 4 kids, messy house, dinner, dirty diaper, twist ties, shoveling snow, no school, grocery shopping, baking cookies, oh... I forgot to mention the biggest reason why:

Chicken pox, oatmeal baths, calamine lotion, entertaining child so he doesn't itch.

Not that any of these things are good excuses- just wanted to let you know why.

Poor Nick. When West had the chicken pox, it was the most miseralbe 2 weeks of my life. He was only 6 months old.

Cool cake! Nick, don't look so excited.

PS I don't believe for one second that your house is messy.

ok Amy, I'm using your blog to send you a message because I don't have your e-mail. To say thanks for supporting me in my Uppercasliving stuff I'm giving my friends and family 20% off anything they would like from the new Spring/Summer catalog. If you would like to see it you can go to the website or let me know and I'll bring one over. I would like to put the order in by next monday. Thanks, Liza

Hey Amy! I found your blog from a link on Lezlie's. I hope you don't mind that I stopped by to see what you all have been up too! It's been such a long time! Your kids are beautiful, altough with your and Todd's genes it's no wonder! I hope you don't mind if I stop by again!
